I had a bit of a strange dream last night I was in a town, which was oxford, but very wild west town-ish. I was walking around the green, which looked a lot like the one I used to walk around up in Tanterton in Preston. It is autumn, and wet and chilly. I come across a woman. She is in distress so I stop to help her. She gives birth to this hideous mummy like creature, and she knows she is dying. She’s cold, wet and its autumn, and it’s like the child sucked all the life out of her. She asks me to care for it. I agree before she dies. The child is tiny, like a baby Thumbelina mummy. All blackish brown leathery skin. I wrap it up and continue walking, to take the baby to the Father, who I apparently know. I took a baby bottle when the mother gave me the child before she died, so feed the baby, and for some reason, the baby starts to get the normal soft pink flesh a baby has. As I walk I see rubbish from a stately home. There are desks and other furniture, including a wash stand. I continue looking for the father, walking into wild west Oxford. There is a dead man in a buried (something I stopped writing after this, but I’m presuming that based on what my memory is coming up with the father is buried in a clear coffin in an open grave.

Last night’s dream was just plain bizarre.  It basically picked bits from my memory of things I had watched/read/done in the past week and mashed them together.  There were people playing the magic game, which some how could create a  Lazarus spell for Doctor Who to be cast on the ides of something.  It must have shifted at some point because the next thing I know some dude called Aster’s son has lost his father’s will.   In his stables was a horse who gives birth but the owner (aster) dies and so the horse has to go. It’s a difficult birth too.  I then slipped into part of the book I am reading where the girl’s been cryogenically frozen and wakes on the generation ship before it reaches it’s destination.

Last night my dreams were really fragmented and fuzzy. I have lots of short ‘clips’ of scenes.

The first fragment I remember is that there is a woman having a baby. I see her from the midwife’;s point of view before switching into the point of view of the labouring woman as the baby is born. The baby is tiny, blood smeared and quiet (I think) but perfect in every other way.

In the next fragment I appear to be a girl. I am taking to a boy about my own age (about ten-ish) and we are standing next to the iron legs of a pier or by the iron railings ON the pier..

In the next fragment, the god Zeus (from Clash of the Titans) is standing on a white sand beach (with all that sparkly silver armour shining in the sun) I am viewing it from a hill. I see him and then the shot pulls away from the beach. There are lots of small shortish stretches of white beach and deep, tropical blue sea water. The vegetation is Mediterranean style (though there weren’t pine trees in this one). In the back ground is one long, lowish promontory that goes out a lot further than the tiny spikes that split the beach .and it has a rounded hill that is higher than the ‘neck’ of the promontory. The pier from the previous fragment is on the end of it even though I can’t actually see the pier, I know it is there.

In the final fragment I am in a hotel doing something, no idea what. There are lots of odd things in the room – candles, compasses, mirrors of all types and red drapes. There were other things too but I pass them by. There’s a passage I want to go into behind one of the drapes but I don’t remember the rest.
